Watching Netflix with beer in hand.

Do you find yourself watching Netflix endlessly?

Most Probably, Yes!

But Have you ever wondered why these web series are that addictive?

Let me tell you the reason.

These days everyone has at least one OTT subscription. All of you feel the addictiveness of these OTT platforms at some point.

Each web series runs 2 to 4 parallel stories together. These 2 to 4 stories also have a background story that tells about their past. This keeps our brain busy processing the story. It confuses our brain because it cannot handle that much information altogether.

The story becomes more interesting when they started to link all those stories. Our brain is bombarded with different scenes. We do not want to miss any fascinating points, and this engages us in the story.

The human brain is designed to take small bits of information at a time. But during web series, it is bombarded with millions of bits. That’s why people forget about the first episode when they are watching the mid or end of the series.

These web series do not allow our brain to think and, we are lost in the story.

Next time doesn’t feel bad when you end up watching Netflix for hours.
